AACUL Survey Demonstrates Collaborative Strength of the Credit Union System
The results of the 2022 American Association of Credit Union Leagues survey were shared as League Presidents took the stage at CUNA GAC.
The numbers show the breadth and depth of support Leagues have provided to credit unions in 2022. Leagues held over 6,200 meetings with lawmakers and policymakers, tracked more than 4,700 state bills, and impacted the outcome of 460 bills.
“We are proud to collaborate with our League System partners,” shared MD|DC Credit Union Association President/CEO John Bratsakis. “Our advocacy efforts, fueled by the engagement and enthusiasm of our credit unions in 2022, enabled us to work together to protect and advance credit union interests and priorities.”
The League System cumulatively hosted over 3,300 events attended by more than 67,500 people in 2022.
