EP FCU Announces Retirement and New CEO Appointment
EP Federal Credit Union announced the retirement of Kirsten Williams as its President and CEO after a distinguished 38-year career and the appointment of Ron Schneeberger as her successor.

Kirsten has provided vision and steady leadership through various economic cycles and change, including the growth of the Credit Union from $16 million in assets to over $75 million, the expansion of its products and the membership groups it serves. Kirsten started with the Credit Union in 1988 and developed a strong executive management team working closely with the Board of Directors to develop leadership depth and execute a succession plan that resulted in the Board’s decision to name Ron Schneeberger as her successor.
Ron was appointed President and CEO of the Credit Union on January 1, 2023. With over 25 years of credit union experience, Ron previously served as Director of Communications at EPFCU and held Marketing positions at NIH FCU, Navy FCU and State Department FCU. He also served on the Board of Directors at Guthrie FCU and on the Supervisory Committee at Summit FCU during his career. He looks forward to the opportunity to lead EPFCU into the future while working side-by-side with newly promoted Executive Vice President/COO Steve Camp
Steve joined EPFCU in April of 2022 as the Director of Membership Experience. With over 35 years of credit union experience, Steve most recently served as Assistant Vice President-District Manager at Tower Federal Credit Union.
“The Board is extremely grateful for Kirsten’s leadership during her tenure at EPFCU. She has guided and grown the credit union through disciplined financial management while never forgetting that our members are always our number one priority. We wish her all the best in her retirement and future endeavors.” Said Greg Boutin, Chairman of the Board at EPFCU. “The board looks forward to working with the new leadership. Ron and Steve bring over 60 years of combined credit union experience that we know will be a great benefit to EPFCU’s staff, members, and the Board.”
