NCUA Chairman Sworn in for Full Term
Chairman Todd Harper took the oath of office at a ceremonial swearing-in on Monday.

The oath was administered by Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Sandra L. Thompson at the NCUA headquarters in Alexandria, Va. The U.S. Senate confirmed his reappointment to the NCUA Board last month for a term that expires April 2027. Harper will continue to serve as Chairman. Members of the MD|DC Credit Union Advocacy Team attended both in-person and virtually.
Harper was initially confirmed to fill out a partial term on the NCUA Board by the Senate in March 2019. That term ended in April 2021.
Prior to joining the NCUA Board, Chairman Harper served as director of the agency’s Office of Public and Congressional Affairs and chief policy advisor to former Chairmen Debbie Matz and Rick Metsger.
