Maryland Legislative Reception - February 9th, 2010 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
The Maryland & District of Columbia Credit Union Association will kick off the 2010 legislative session in Annapolis at its Maryland Legislative Reception at the Governor Calvert House. This annual event provides Maryland lawmakers the opportunity to hear from credit union leaders.
This free reception has proved to be a great forum for credit union professionals and volunteers to network with General Assembly officials and to educate them about how credit unions are helping Maryland's communities. Legislators representing various Senate and House committees will be on hand.
Governmental Affairs Conference - February 21 – 25, 2010
The Credit Union National Association’s 2010 Governmental Affairs Conference will give credit union leaders the opportunity to learn the latest from influential policy makers, speak out on these critical issues, and ensure the credit union difference is well understood on Capitol Hill.
The 2010 GAC takes place February 21 – 25 in at the prestigious Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
The GAC will feature a special kickoff concert on Sunday evening, February 21, presented by the CUNA Councils and preceded by a dessert reception in the Convention Center’s Grand Exhibit Hall.
