Credit unions can participate in a variety of events throughout the year including the Maryland Legislative Reception, the Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC), Credit Unions for Kids Golf and Bowling Tournaments, Money Power Day, the Dollars & Sense Expo, International Credit Union Day festivities, and others. Maryland Legislative Reception - 2011 Event Date (TBA)

The Maryland & District of Columbia Credit Union Association will kick off the 2011 legislative session in Annapolis at its Maryland Legislative. This annual event provides Maryland lawmakers the opportunity to hear from credit union leaders.

This free reception has proved to be a great forum for credit union professionals and volunteers to network with General Assembly officials and to educate them about how credit unions are helping Maryland's communities. Legislators representing various Senate and House committees will be on hand.

Governmental Affairs Conference - 2011 Event Date (TBA)

The Credit Union National Association’s 2011 Governmental Affairs Conference will give credit union leaders the opportunity to learn the latest from influential policy makers, speak out on these critical issues, and ensure the credit union difference is well understood on Capitol Hill.

GAC Luncheon - 2011 Event Date (TBA)

Maryland & DC credit union representatives have the unique opportunity to hear from their Congressional and Senate officials about the issues facing credit unions.

Dollars & Sense Expo - 2011 Event Date (TBA)

This is a free consumer financial event that encourages credit unions to participate providing educational workshops, informational booths and volunteers to serve on the planning committee.
