Joseph N. Sparacino

Mr. Sparacino served over thirty-two years in various accounting positions for Montgomery County Government prior to retirement in 2006 and is currently a licensed Maryland Realtor.

He has been a credit union volunteer since 1973 and has served on the Board of Montgomery County Employees Federal Credit Union in Rockville since 1976 and as its Chairman since 1986.  He currently serves as Chairman of the Maryland & DC Chairman’s Forum, and is a member of Credit Union Executives Society (CUES).  Mr. Sparacino actively participates in various credit union training conferences such as the Volunteer Leadership Conference, Chairman/CEO Conference and the annual MDDCCUA conference.  He is a regular attendee of the quarterly meetings of the Suburban Chapter.

Mr. Sparacino is a dedicated credit union volunteer and believes very strongly in the ideals of credit unions as well as in their unlimited bright future and their dedicated service to their members.  To me, “credit unions represent all that is good in the financial world; they are a way of life for me and my family and our members”.
