James Norris
Jim Norris is a career Credit Union professional. He began his career right after graduating with a BS Degree from the University of Maryland in 1981 as Manager/CEO of Mercy Hospital Employees Federal Credit Union. In 1997, he accepted the position of VP of Delivery Systems at NIH Federal Credit Union (1997-2006) where he gained diverse experience and excelled in a TEAM environment. Since July 2006, Jim has been the President and CEO of the AFL-CIO Employees Federal Credit Union.
During his entire career of 29 years, he has been affiliated with the MDDCCUA and has held several Chapter positions and a brief time on the MDDCCUA Board. Jim was President of both the Baltimore Chapter (1996-1998) and the Suburban Chapter (1999-2005) and is currently the Vice President of the DC Chapter (2007-Present). He promotes Credit Union values, cooperation, fun and networking opportunities.
