Robert Ulmer

Rob Ulmer is the Vice President of Advocacy and has been a credit union member as long as he has been in Washington - 15 years.  A native of Delaware, Rob started his career on the staff of then-Senator Joseph Biden. Expanding on his Hill experience, Rob worked on the legislative staffs of two members of the Maryland Congressional delegation, Senator Barbara Mikulski and Congressman Elijah Cummings. He received a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Elizabethtown College and his law degree from American University’s Washington College of Law.  Prior to joining MDDCCUA, Rob worked in the regulatory and litigation practice groups for several major Washington, D.C.-area law firms.
