MD&DC Chairman's
Forum
Leadership of a Board of Directors
provides challenges that are unique within the credit union movement.
As the leader of volunteer efforts for your credit union, you should
ensure that Board and Committee members understand and commit to:
-
Roles and
Responsibilities
-
Governance Policies
-
Need for Continuing
Education
-
Using Skill Sets
-
Attracting
New Volunteers
-
Addressing Items on the Radar Screen –
Conversions, ID Theft, Fraud, Modest Means, etc.
The MD&DC Chairman's Forum
offers
opportunities to inform and educate Board chairs and vice-chairs through
networking, support and training.
Board of Directors
Chairmen and Vice Chairmen recently
networked with their peers at MDDCCUA's Columbia office to discuss issues for training and
support.
